Sue Riedl has a diverse work experience, starting with their most recent role as a Senior Director at Blue Ant Media, where they have been responsible for leading the domestic and global launches of various streaming channels. Before that, they served as the Director of OTT Products at Blue Ant Media, overseeing the launches of their OTT/FAST channels. Prior to their time at Blue Ant Media, Sue was the Editor-in-Chief at John Brown Media, where they built a team to launch a subscription-based editorial platform. Sue also worked as an Editorial Director at Rogers Communications, leading the food content strategy for Chatelaine. Sue Riedl's earlier experience includes roles such as Director of Digital at Corus Entertainment and Freelance Food Professional at The Globe and Mail. Sue also worked as an Executive Producer and Producer at Head Gear Animation, where they managed production processes and client communication.
Sue Riedl has a Bachelor of Arts in Film from Queen's University. Sue also studied at Le Cordon Bleu London and obtained a Wine Specialist Certificate from George Brown College. Sue has a Diploma in Artisinal Cheese Study from the Cheese Education Guild of Ontario. Sue Riedl also completed Levels A-E in Comedy Writing/Improv at Second City, Toronto. Additionally, they attended the Canadian Film Centre-Director's Lab for Film/Cinema/Video Studies.
