Rod Zivkovich has extensive work experience in finance and support services. Rod started their career in 1987 as a Controller at Minnesota Viking Food Service. Rod then worked at American Express as a Financial Analyst from 1998 to 2001. From 2001 to 2005, they served as the Director of Finance at Eden Prairie School District. Rod then moved to New Prague School District and held the position of Director of Finance from 2005 to 2007. After that, they worked at Bloomington Public Schools as the Executive Director Finance and Support Services from 2007 to 2009. Rod then briefly worked at Schools of Eastern Carver County as the Director of Finance in 2009. Finally, they returned to Bloomington Public Schools and resumed their role as the Executive Director Finance and Support Services in 2010.
Rod Zivkovich obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Business/Management from the University of Minnesota Duluth, which they attended from 1982 to 1988. Rod later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Finance, General at the University of St. Thomas, studying from 1995 to 2001.
