Jessica Vele has over a decade of experience in public health and program coordination, currently serving on the Global Public Health Team at Bloomberg Philanthropies since September 2014. Prior to this role, Jessica worked as a Program Coordinator at the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation from December 2011 to July 2014. Earlier in the career, Jessica gained valuable experience as a Legal Assistant at Student Legal Services at Syracuse University and completed internships in the offices of Senator Kirsten E. Gillibrand and Senator Charles E. Schumer. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Syracuse University, a Master of Public Administration in Government from Pace University, and participated in a Graduate Summer Session in Epidemiology at the University of Michigan School of Public Health.
