Mirabel Zou is a dedicated student leader and mental health advocate currently serving on the Mental Health Leadership Steering Committee for the Peel District School Board, where responsibilities include drafting the next Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy. As a co-founder of the Flourish Foundation, Mirabel aims to support underprivileged youth in academic achievement. Experience as a piano teacher and in various leadership roles, including President of Innovire and Glenforest Secondary School’s Student Council, underscores Mirabel’s commitment to community impact and youth development. Mirabel's entrepreneurial spirit is reflected in co-founding Yougen, a platform supporting small businesses during the pandemic, and participating in hackathons like Hack the North, where a web application was developed to facilitate team collaboration. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Biology at the University of Pennsylvania, Mirabel completed the International Baccalaureate program at Glenforest Secondary School.
