Charles Quinto is a seasoned professional in the field of research and development, currently serving as the R&D Corporate Manager - Product Development at Blommer Chocolate Company since December 2018. In this role, Charles leads a team across North America to develop innovative products for the confectionery market and enhance customer relationship management software for improved project traceability. Previously, Charles held positions at El Pollo Loco, where R&D efficiencies were improved through the creation of a comprehensive ingredient database, and at Chapman University and Cal Poly Pomona as an adjunct faculty member, where engaging lectures were crafted to enhance student understanding of food safety and chemistry. Charles also gained experience as an R&D Consultant at StarLite Cuisine and performed vital research roles at Pathway Genomics and the Salk Institute for Biological Studies. Charles holds a Master of Science in Food Science from Chapman University and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from UC San Diego.
