Nigel Waring is an accomplished technology and management professional currently serving as Head of Technology and Head of Digital at Blind Low Vision NZ since August 2016. In these roles, Nigel focuses on digital transformation, including the creation of a 'Single View' of the customer, consolidating databases, and enhancing overall business efficiency. Nigel also has experience as IT Manager, overseeing a productive IT team, and previously held positions as Information Technology Project Manager at the Blind Foundation, Shared Services Manager, and Planning and Logistics Manager at CanTeen New Zealand. Earlier career highlights include roles at Wright Satellite Connections, Johnson Controls, and Leach Ltd Printing and Binding Supplies. Nigel holds an education credential from Auckland University of Technology.
