Arun Kumar Ph.D. is a co-founder and Lead Scientist at Blaze Power, specializing in innovative solutions for the electrification industry, particularly in developing low-cost cathodes and safer battery technologies. As a co-founder of Feynman Energy, Arun focuses on building electrification. Previously, positions include Battery Development Engineer at Farasis Energy, Partner/PI for a Stealth Startup, and roles in R&D at BrightVolt and Primet Precision Materials, where efforts centered on battery performance enhancement. Academic contributions include establishing an R&D laboratory at the University of Puerto Rico and extensive research on lithium-ion battery cathode materials. Arun holds a Master's degree in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, and a Ph.D. from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras, with a focus on lithium-ion battery cathode materials synthesis and testing.
