Jochem van Kempen is a Lead Data Scientist at Connected Energy, specializing in data analysis from battery energy storage systems to enhance R&D efforts in optimization, efficiency, and maintenance. Previously, Jochem served as a postdoctoral researcher in Neuroscience at Newcastle University, focusing on high-dimensional electrophysiological data and its interaction with cognitive functions. Jochem's academic journey includes a PhD in Neuroscience from Newcastle University, along with both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Brain and Cognitive Sciences and Psychobiology from the University of Amsterdam.
