Jon Olson is an accomplished legal executive with extensive experience in corporate governance and strategy. Currently serving as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Blackbaud since September 2008, Jon advises the board and executive management on SEC regulations and corporate governance matters. Previously, Jon was a Board Member at Dax Technologies, where a focus on legal practices and governance helped guide the company to a successful sale. As Division Counsel at Alcatel-Lucent, Jon initiated a knowledge management program that brought multi-million-dollar efficiencies and led significant negotiations in the telecom sector. Jon's earlier roles included Commercial Counsel at MCI and Attorney at Unisys, where complex contracts were drafted and negotiated. Educational credentials include a BS in Political Science from Georgetown University, a JD from Penn State Dickinson Law, and an MBA in Management from Seton Hall University.
