Jana Šteblaj has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Jana is currently employed at Bitstamp as an Associate Legal Counsel, where they previously held the positions of Legal Officer and Junior Legal Officer. Prior to joining Bitstamp, they worked at ŠELIH & PARTNERJI Law Firm as a Senior Associate and Associate. Jana also served as a Judicial Trainee at the Higher Court in Ljubljana. Jana has gained valuable legal experience through their internships at various organizations, including Zdolsek Attorneys at law, where they focused on due diligence reports and legal opinions, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, where they worked on labor legislation issues. Additionally, they worked as the Head of Legal team and Project Coordinator at Voxior, conducting research on the impact of GDPR on smart home technology providers. Jana has also had research assistant roles at the University of Cambridge and internships at Law firm KIRM PERPAR, Ltd. and Zveza računovodij, finančnikov in revizorjev Slovenije. Jana started their career as an Administrative Assistant at BEST WESTERN PREMIER Hotel Slon.

Jana Šteblaj's education history begins with their high school graduation from Gimnazija Vič. Jana then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Law, from 2012 to 2016. During this time, they focused on the study of law.

Following their undergraduate studies, Jana proceeded to obtain a Master's degree in the Commercial Law Module at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Law, from 2016 to 2018. This further deepened their knowledge in the field of commercial law.
