Kate Vetch currently serves as the Head of Global Compliance at Macquarie Group, a position held since September 2019. Prior to this role, Kate was Managing Director and Global Head of Equities Compliance at UBS from July 2015 to 2019. Kate's extensive experience in compliance includes serving as Managing Director at Merrill Lynch, where responsibilities included heading EMEA private side compliance and previously managing EMEA Equities Compliance from March 2005 to July 2015. Earlier positions include roles in equity compliance at Citi and JPMorgan Chase, as well as an auditing role at PwC. Kate holds a first-class honours degree in Chemistry from the University of Bristol, obtained between 1992 and 1995.
