Laura Dogaru is an experienced sourcing and procurement professional with a background in engineering. Currently serving as a Sourcing Manager at BIRKENSTOCK since April 2022, Laura previously held the position of Global Commodity Manager for Power Electronics at ENERCON, managing a yearly spend of 50M€ and developing long-term sourcing strategies. Laura has also worked as Program Purchasing Lead at A123 Systems, overseeing supplier development and cost management for 48V Battery Systems, and as a Commodity Buyer at Honeywell, where responsibilities included managing supplier relationships and conducting negotiations. Laura's career began as a Design Engineer at Akka Romserv, specializing in automotive components. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest and a Master of Engineering from Université de Bordeaux.
