Bruno Melo is a Senior Process Scientist at BIOVECTRA since August 2022, leading a team of scientists and specializing in the scaling up of single-use downstream purification processes for recombinant proteins. With extensive experience in process optimization, troubleshooting in GMP environments, and documentation development, Bruno has previously held roles such as Extraction Supervisor at Organigram Inc., where responsibilities included managing supercritical extraction and cannabis formulations, and Process Team Lead at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, overseeing a paint shop operation. Bruno holds a Master's degree in Radiation Science from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Centro Universitário Newton Paiva, complemented by research experience in radon contamination and various chemistry projects.
