Jayaprakash Nair is an experienced professional in the field of research and development, currently serving as Vice President of Research, Chemistry and Delivery Science at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals since February 2005. Prior roles at Alnylam include Senior Director, Chemistry, Delivery Science-Research, and Director, Chemistry-RNAi Discovery, leading drug discovery and development efforts focused on RNA therapeutics. Prior to Alnylam, Jayaprakash Nair held positions as Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist at Natural Products and Glycotechnology Research Institute, and served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at North Carolina State University. Education includes studies at North Carolina State University from 2000 to 2002 and a prior engagement at the National Chemical Laboratory in Pune, where Jayaprakash Nair worked as a Research Fellow from 1995 to 1999.
