Shay Hilel's work experience includes a variety of roles in different companies. In 1994, they worked at IDF in an unspecified role. From 2000 to 2004, they were a Project Manager at Celltick, and from 2003 to 2006, they held the same role at Mobilitec. Shay then joined Alcatel-Lucent in 2007, where they served as the R&D Director of the Digital Multimedia Solution Business Unit until 2011. Simultaneously, they were also the Head of the Digital Multimedia Solution Business Unit at Alcatel-Lucent. After leaving Alcatel-Lucent, they became the GM and Executive Vice President of iD Enterprise at NantMobileā¢ from 2014 to 2016. In 2016, Shay became the CEO and Co-Founder of BrainVu, a startup focusing on brain-based communication technology. Currently, they are the CEO and Co-Founder of BiotaX. Shay also holds the position of Chairman of the Board at Bountica since 2021.
Shay Hilel began their education at Handesaim in Tel Aviv in 1985, where they studied Computer Science until 1988. Shay then went on to enroll at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 1988 to 1992, pursuing a BSC degree in Engineering. Later, in 1995, Shay pursued a higher education at Tel Aviv University and completed an MBA degree in Information Technology in 1997.
