Sara Ghorbani Nezami is currently the Lead Biologist at ATCC. Prior to this, Sara held positions such as Senior Research Associate in Vaccine Research at BIOQUAL, Inc., and Molecular Diagnostician at East Tennessee State University James H. Quillen College of Medicine. Sara has a background in microbial ecology, applied microbiology, and bacteriophage therapy. Sara holds a Master's degree in Diagnostic and Production Animal Veterinary Preventive Medicine from Iowa State University and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from University of Tehran. Sara also holds certifications in Molecular Diagnostics Technologist (MDxT) and Program for the Assessment of Veterinary Education Equivalence (PAVE).
