Maeve Sugrue is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in managing tax affairs across various organizations. Currently serving as Senior Tax Manager at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. since November 2018, Maeve has previously held positions at Brookfield Renewable from June 2015 to October 2018 as Tax Manager and Tax Lead, where assistance was provided in managing tax matters for the group across Ireland and the U.K. Earlier experience includes a tenure at KPMG Ireland, serving as Tax Senior from October 2010 to August 2014, and as a Tax Placement Student in 2009. Maeve holds a Chartered Tax Consultant designation from the Irish Tax Institute, an ACA in Accounting from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, and a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Accounting (Honours) from the University of Limerick.
