Iben Egebæk Nikolajsen currently serves as an Academic Relations Manager and Grant and Impact Specialist at the BioInnovation Institute since April 2023. Prior to this role, Iben was a Consultant at EY from August 2021 to April 2023 and worked as a Project Developer at Biotech Academy from February 2020 to August 2021. Iben led the UCPH 2019 iGEM Team as Project Manager Team Lead from February 2019 to January 2020 and gained experience as a Student Assistant at the Department of Biomedical Sciences between March 2018 and August 2019. Teaching Assistant duties were fulfilled at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen in July 2017, and earlier roles include Project Secretary at Henning Larsen and Sales Assistant at ABC-Gruppen AB. Iben holds a Master of Science in Molecular Biomedicine from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen (2019-2021) and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biomedicine from the same institution (2015-2019). Additionally, Iben participated in exchange studies in Biological and Biomedical Sciences at McGill University during 2017-2018.
