Carmen Muntean's work experience begins with their role as a Visiting Lecturer at Università degli Studi di Firenze, where they taught courses for MA level students and conducted field research. Carmen then became a Visiting Lecturer at King's College London, teaching courses and seminars on sociolinguistics and participating in research projects. Carmen then worked as a Content Strategist at I Know What I Like, where they tailored messages and delivery channels for an international community of art lovers. Carmen later joined Havas People as a Digital Strategist - UX Researcher, where they were responsible for UX research, digital strategy, audience personas, data analysis, information architecture, and wireframes. Carmen then worked as a UX Researcher at Which? before becoming a Lead UX Consultant at ORM. Currently, they are the Head of Customer Experience at Bink.

Carmen Muntean has a strong educational background in the field of linguistics and cultural studies. Carmen first enrolled at Babes-Bolyai University in 2003 and completed their Bachelor's degree in English and Romanian literature, comparative literature, linguistics, and anthropology in 2007.

Following their undergraduate studies, Carmen pursued a Master's degree at the same university from 2007 to 2008. Their focus during this time was on Cultural Studies. Building on their passion for language and society, they went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Sociolinguistics from Babes-Bolyai University and King's College London, studying from 2009 to 2012.

In addition to their academic achievements, Carmen has also acquired valuable certifications in data analysis and digital analytics from Google.
