Matthew Rolfson is an experienced professional in outdoor recreation and terrain management, currently serving as the Terrain Parks Assistant Manager at Big Sky Resort since October 2017. Matthew oversees the construction and maintenance of premier terrain parks in Montana, along with responsibilities in heavy equipment operation and crew supervision. Previously, Matthew held the position of Bike Park Assistant Manager at Big Sky, focusing on trail design and maintenance. Other notable experiences include serving as a Recreation Coordinator and Registered Maine Guide at Maine Huts & Trails, a Binding Technician at Happy Tunes! LLC, coaching at Carrabassett Valley Academy, and working with the Boy Scouts of America as an Adventure Director. Matthew’s early career also includes instructing skiing at Winter Park Resort and completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Outdoor Recreation Business Administration and Business/Managerial Economics from the University of Maine at Farmington.
