Bert Hogemans is an experienced professional in the library and public sectors, currently serving as Directeur-Bestuurder at Bibliotheek Gelderland Zuid since August 2017. Hogemans holds multiple board positions, including Bestuurslid at the Vereniging van Openbare Bibliotheken, Samenwerkende Gelderse Bibliotheken, and Cultuur Netwerk Nijmegen, as well as Voorzitter at Stichting Literaire Activiteiten Nijmegen. Previous roles include Vice-voorzitter rekenkamercommissie for both Hoogheemraadschap De Stichtse Rijnlanden and Waterschap Rivierenland. During a lengthy career at SYSQA, Hogemans focused on strategy development, business development, and management consulting within the public sector. Academic qualifications include a MA in American Studies from Radboud University and extensive education in various fields at both the University of Twente and Het Assink.
