Aster T. is an experienced plumbing professional currently serving as a Uniform Plumbing Code Technical Committee Member at IAPMO since January 2024. Aster has held various roles, including Plumber at Therma and Workforce Virtual Design and Construction Coordinator and Coach at Stanford University School of Engineering, focusing on project-based learning in construction. Aster is also a Building Trade Plumber with UA Local 393 and a Trade Orientation Program Mentor with Working Partnerships USA, providing guidance to underrepresented participants in construction. Additionally, Aster has served as a Labor Union Delegate for the Santa Clara & San Benito Building and Construction Trades Council. Aster's background includes a Senior Lead Graphic Designer role at MA Labs and an extensive educational history with degrees from Stanford University, UC Davis, Rowan University (in progress), and various certificates in plumbing and construction management.
