Tarek Abou-Eita MBA ACA has had an extensive and varied work experience. Tarek currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Beymen Egypt at the Beymen Group, a position they started in 2022. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2022, they worked as a Freelance Consultant and Financial Adviser.
From 2007 to 2019, Tarek held various roles at LafargeHolcim. Tarek initially served as the Head of Accounting, Reporting & Internal Control for the MEA Region, overseeing 26 different countries within the region. Tarek then was promoted to the Country Chief Financial Officer for Egypt, responsible for finance operations for six business units. Finally, they served as the Chief Financial Officer of the Lafarge Cement Egypt plant, which is part of LafargeHolcim Group, the largest building materials group worldwide.
Before their time at LafargeHolcim, Tarek worked as the Chief Financial Officer of LEONI Wiring Systems Egypt from 2003 to 2007. Prior to that, they served as the Finance Manager of LEONI Wiring Systems and was also responsible for the Romanian facility in Arad.
Tarek began their career at KPMG UK, where they worked as an Audit Supervisor from 1991 to 1995. Tarek also gained experience in financial roles at Bridgestone Firestone UK Ltd, ENGEL, and Wolverhapmton & Dudley Brewery PLC.
Tarek holds an MBA degree and ACA qualifications. Their work experience showcases their expertise in finance, including financial advising, accounting, reporting, and internal control.
Tarek Abou-Eita obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Ain Shams University in 1985. Tarek then pursued an MBA from the University of Birmingham between 1988 and 1990. In 1996, they completed the ACA qualification from ICAEW.
