Margarita K. is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in marketing communications, social impact design, and education. Currently serving as the Director of Marketing Communications at Beth El Synagogue Center since April 2024, Margarita also maintains a long-term role as an Artist and Social Impact Designer with Urban Pop Art Projects. Previous experience includes positions as a Digital Media Specialist at East Harlem Tutorial Program, Fellowship Program Coordinator at apexart, and Community Program Coordinator at Southwest Brooklyn Industrial Development Corporation. Margarita has designed and facilitated various community programs and educational initiatives, particularly focused on social impact and cultural heritage. With an MFA in Design for Social Innovation from the School of Visual Arts and extensive involvement in projects supporting marginalized communities, Margarita K. combines artistic creativity with a commitment to social progress.
