Parin Shah is a Polymer Chemist at Twelve and a Research Affiliate at Berkeley Lab, with a significant background in polymer and materials science. Previously, Parin served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology, focusing on self-adhesive ionomers for alkaline water electrolysis and conducting polymer analysis. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, instruction was provided for a course on the mechanical behavior of composites. Prior experience includes working as a Research and Development Engineer at Neemcco, where a novel zero-discharge process was developed and an antimicrobial polymer was formulated, and as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Institute of Chemical Technology, where self-healing coatings and shape memory composites were created. Parin's early experience includes a research and development internship at PPG Asian Paints, focusing on automotive coatings. Education includes a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Surface Coatings Technology from the Institute of Chemical Technology.
