Sudheer Reddy Y is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in system-on-chip (SOC) development and management. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at Qualcomm since January 2013, Sudheer oversees the SOC Power Team. Prior roles at Qualcomm include Principal Engineer, where responsibilities included leading modem and mobile SOCs and managing an IoT chip, and Senior Staff Engineer, focusing on low power design and implementation. Sudheer's earlier career includes significant contributions at ST Microelectronics as an Engineering Specialist, handling SOC integration and design for DTV SOCs, and at Tata Elxsi as a Specialist in ASIC design. Sudheer Reddy Y holds a Master's degree in Microelectronics from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
