Michael Waitzman has worked in the consulting industry for over 13 years. Michael began their career at IBM in 2007 as a Senior Consultant. Michael then moved to JPMorgan Chase & Co. in 2009 as an SAP Consultant. In 2011, they returned to IBM as a Management Consultant. In 2013, they joined Daugherty Business Solutions as a Principal Consultant. Most recently, they have been the CEO of Benchsme.com since 2016.

Michael Waitzman obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the University of Iowa. Michael then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MS) in Computer and Information Systems Management from Northwestern University. Afterwards, they obtained an MBA from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. In 2007, they obtained a FI/CO certification from the SAP Academy.
