MinJay Jo is an experienced lifeguard currently employed at Bellevue Club since July 2021, with prior experience at Samena Swim & Recreation Club from July 2021 to March 2022. As a founding member and Vice President of TeachingTech4kids since May 2021, MinJay has played a vital role in providing free educational support focused on STEM topics during the pandemic. In early 2023, participation in the High School Work Experience Program at Expedia Group provided valuable insights into the travel and technology industry. Furthermore, involvement in the Leadership Empowerment and Development in STEM (LEADS) program at the Institute for Systems Biology from June to September 2022 enhanced MinJay's leadership skills and understanding of effective communication within STEM fields. The Environmental Systems in the Outdoors Research Experience (ESORE) further contributed to knowledge about renewable energy and biological systems. MinJay is currently pursuing a High School Diploma at Newport Senior High School, expected to graduate in 2024.
