Zhe Sun is an Assistant Professor at Beijing University of Technology in the Faculty of Architecture, Civil, and Transportation Engineering since September 2021. Previously, Zhe Sun served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Carnegie Mellon University in the Advanced Infrastructure Systems group from August 2020 to July 2021, and as a Graduate Teaching Associate at Arizona State University from January 2017 to August 2020, where the focus was on emerging technologies in construction engineering. Zhe Sun has held various roles, including Student Activities Co-Chair for the ASCE Construction Research Congress and Consultant for laser scanning and bridge structural analysis. Zhe Sun's academic credentials include a PhD in Construction Engineering from Arizona State University and multiple master's degrees from the University at Buffalo and other institutions, alongside a Bachelor of Engineering from Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture.
