Coby Boring's work experience starts in 2000 as a Student Computer Technician at Concordia University, Nebraska. In 2002, they joined Sandhills Publishing as a Systems Network Administrator. They worked on installing and configuring various systems and servers. In 2008, Coby joined Perot Systems/Dell Services as a Sr. Systems Engineer, where they led projects and managed the Wintel/Citrix/AD team. In 2014, they joined AOS as a Senior System Consultant, focusing on designing and implementing Citrix and Microsoft solutions. Finally, in 2016, Coby joined Beatrice Community Hospital and Health Center, initially as a Lead System Engineer and then transitioning to roles such as Infrastructure Supervisor and, currently, Director of Technology Services. In their current position, they are responsible for supporting and improving various systems using new technology and software.
Coby Boring completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Management Information Systems from Concordia University, Nebraska, from the year 2011 to 2015. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management Information Systems from the same university from 1999 to 2003.
Coby has also obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include the VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization 2019 from VMware in August 2019, the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate: Windows Server 2012 from Microsoft in March 2017, the VMware Certified Professional 6 - Data Center Virtualization (VCP6-DCV) from VMware in March 2017, the Microsoft Specialist: Windows 7, Configuring from Microsoft in December 2015, and the MCTIP:EA from Microsoft in June 2011.
