Amanda Richards, MPH, is a skilled public health professional currently serving as a Prevention Specialist at the Center for Prevention & Counseling since May 2023, where responsibilities include participation in statewide tobacco prevention workgroups, community education, and stakeholder engagement. Previous experience at Valley Medical Center as a Mohs technician involved developing laboratory protocols and ensuring compliance with regulations, while a role as a Research Technologist at Bloodworks Northwest encompassed managing a mouse colony and performing various laboratory techniques. Amanda also gained clinical experience as an extern at Sound Family Medicine, assisting in patient care and procedures, and has a background in customer service from a position at Chase.
