Stefan Stemmer is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles within the laboratory, medical device, and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as the CEO of BDC Laboratories since January 2023, Stefan previously held the position of Vice President of Laboratory Operations and Site Director at NAMSA from July 2021 to December 2022, where significant operational strategies and laboratory throughput improvements were implemented. As the founder and President of QUALTRU LLC from August 2018 to June 2021, Stefan specialized in operational excellence for highly regulated industries. Notably, as CEO and President of Berghof Group from June 2014 to May 2018, Stefan directed a multi-faceted company across several global regions. Earlier career roles at Gambro involved high-level responsibilities in operations, marketing, R&D, and P&L management, showcasing expertise in driving revenue growth and project development. Stefan holds a Master's degree in Chemistry from the University of Konstanz and has completed executive education at MIT Sloan School of Management and the Centre for Creative Leadership.
