Ana Estany Gestal, MSc, Pharm PhD, is an experienced epidemiologist currently working at the Fundación Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria de Santiago de Compostela since June 2015, focusing on epidemiological research. In addition to this role, Ana serves as the technical secretary for the Galician Network Research Ethics Committees since May 2019. Previous positions include epidemiologist roles at the Biomedical R&D Foundation Ramón Domínguez and Biomedical R&D Foundation FIDI, as well as an epidemiologic researcher at the University of Santiago de Compostela. Ana's educational background includes a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Santiago de Compostela and multiple master's degrees in related fields from various institutions, showcasing a strong foundation in public health and clinical trials.
