Melissa Doss has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies. Melissa is currently working at BCD Travel as the Director of Strategic Hotel Programs since April 2019. Prior to that, they were a Managing Consultant at Advito from February 2013 to April 2019. In this role, they managed the Hotel Sourcing RFP process for a global portfolio with a hotel spend of $164.7 million and over 5000 RFPs annually, and also served as the lead negotiator for hotel sourcing engagements and supplier contacts.

Before joining Advito, Melissa worked at BCD Travel from June 1998 to January 2013. During this time, they held the position of Sr. Director - Operations and Account Management from November 2005 to January 2013. In this role, they managed the travel operations and client relationships of a multi-national client portfolio with more than $100 million, and developed and implemented a global strategic business plan to support client objectives. Prior to that, from June 1998 to October 2005, they served as a Sr. Account Manager, where they managed client relationships for a multi-national client portfolio with over $100 million, developed business plans for client programs, and led the review, selection, and implementation of an online booking tool.

Melissa Doss started their career at Fidelity Investments Southwest Company as a Participant Services Representative from October 1997 to June 1998. In this role, they assisted participants with enrolling in 401k accounts, processed investment elections and withdrawals, and held Series 6 and Series 63 NASD licenses.

Melissa Doss attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1976 to 1981, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A) degree with a focus on Management and Business Administration.
