Chris Tawater is an experienced professional in data management and information systems with a strong background in education technology. Currently serving as the Director of PEIMS and Data Quality at Bastrop ISD since November 2020, Chris previously held roles including District Testing & Data Analysis Coordinator, Director of Student Information Services, and Information Systems and Data Coordinator at Manor ISD. Chris's earlier experience at Bastrop ISD includes positions such as Student Information Systems Analyst, Applications Manager, Applications Technician, and Site Coordinator. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology - Business Analytics and an Associate of Arts in Information Technology - Networking, both from the University of Phoenix. Chris has a proven track record in supporting the development, maintenance, and enhancement of district-wide applications.
