Ciara Courtney is a Communications Executive at Barnardos Ireland since March 2022. Prior to this role, Ciara served as the Communications, Education, and Public Engagement Lead at FutureNeuro from December 2020 to March 2022, supporting the Centre Manager and Director in promoting science communication. From July 2019 to December 2020, Ciara was a PR and Communications Executive for the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association, managing public relations and communications strategies. Ciara's earlier experience includes working as a journalist at Newstalk 106-108 FM from August 2016 to June 2019, where responsibilities included content generation and guest liaison, as well as a part-time role as a broadcast news journalist at LMFM Radio from April 2015 to August 2017. Additionally, Ciara worked as a Comment Line Operator for RTÉ RADIO ONE from January 2016 to March 2017.
