Justin Hackney is the VP of Marketing at Bark. Prior to joining Bark, Justin was the Senior Growth Marketing Manager at 2ULaundry from March 2019 to June 2020. During their time at 2ULaundry, the company was voted Charlotte's Startup of the Year in 2016.
From October 2017 to June 2022, Justin served as the Chief Digital Officer at Dragoons Media. In this role, they were responsible for leading the digital transformation of the company and overseeing all digital marketing initiatives.
Before their time at Dragoons Media, Justin was the Director of Professional Development at Greater Atlanta ATD from September 2016 to September 2017. In this role, they oversaw the professional development programs for the organization and assisted members with their career development goals.
Justin Hackney earned their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business with a focus in business administration, management and operations. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate degree in international relations and affairs from the University of North Georgia. In addition, Justin has two professional certifications; one in sales and marketing from Edevate and the other in international trade from the World Trade Center.
They are on a team with Brandon Hilkert - CTO, Bill Klasnic - National VP, Bark for Schools, and Jodie Sherrill - Community Manager.
