Sumin Yu has four years of work experience. In 2019, they worked as a Full Stack Developer at Banyan Infrastructure and as a Full Stack Software Engineer at Einstein Studios. In 2018, they served as a Front-End Engineer at project RAWLs. Sumin Yu has also worked as a Computer Assistant at Community Technology Network (CTN) since 2012. At Einstein Studios, they designed a web platform for a startup company that allowed both students with dyslexia and teachers to schedule online virtual reality language classes. At project RAWLs, they designed and developed the front-end for a web application that allowed consumers to control their personal data and monetize it.

Sumin Yu attended the University of California, Davis from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. Sumin then attended Holberton School from 2018 to 2019 to pursue a Full Stack Software Engineering program.
