Kitae Lee serves as an IT Manager at the Bank of Korea since January 2020, focusing on CBDC technology within the Payment & Settlement Systems Department, conducting research on technical elements necessary for central bank digital currencies and overseeing related projects. Prior to this role, Kitae Lee was a Software Engineer at Samsung Electronics from January 2012 to December 2019, where responsibilities included developing filesystem modules for the Linux kernel, specifically modifying and writing code for ext4, sdcardfs, and sdfat. Kitae Lee holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Pusan National University and a Master's degree in DMC Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University.
