Helen Lau, CRCM, has a solid work experience in the banking industry. Helen currently holds the position of VP, Sr. Internal Auditor at Bank of Hope, starting in September 2022. Prior to this, from October 2021 to September 2022, they served as SVP, Compliance Officer at Sunwest Bank. Before that, from April 2014 to October 2021, they held the role of SVP, Compliance Officer at First Choice Bank (acquired by Enterprise Bank & Trust). Additionally, Helen worked as VP, Auditor at BBCN Bank (now Bank of Hope) from May 2013 to April 2014.

Helen Lau, CRCM, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a specialization in Marketing, from California State University-Long Beach - College of Business. Helen has also obtained additional certifications such as the Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) from the American Bankers Association in 2019, and the Certified BSA/AML Professional (CBAP) from ICBA in 2011.
