Chandra Ankolekar is an accomplished Research and Development Manager at Balchem Corporation since November 2020, previously serving as Technical Manager at Kemin Food Technologies from August 2015 to November 2020. With expertise in driving growth through product innovation in the grains, fats, and oils markets, Chandra has a strong background in fostering customer partnerships and supporting product launches in shelf life extension solutions. Prior experience includes roles as a Food Scientist at International Food Network, where innovation projects supported major global food clients, and extensive research work at the University of Massachusetts Amherst culminating in a Ph.D. in Food Science. Chandra's educational foundation includes a Master of Science in Food Science and a Bachelor’s in Food Engineering and Technology, complemented by hands-on experience with Cadbury's India Ltd.
