Amicia D. Elliott, Ph.D.

Amicia D. Elliott, Ph.D. has over a decade of experience in product management, research, and teaching. In 2022, they began working as a Product Manager for Form Bio and an Advisor and Product Manager for Colossal Biosciences. From 2015 to 2022, they were a Co-Founder and Scientific Advisor for VidaFuel, a company focused on simplifying the renal diet and increasing quality of life for those living with chronic kidney disease. From 2014 to 2018, they were a Research Fellow and Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Intramural Research Program (IRP). During their fellowship, they built a custom light-sheet microscope and wrote accompanying alpha software. Amicia D. was also an Appointee for the Next Generation Researchers Initiative Working Group. From 2013 to 2018, they were Course Faculty for Quantitative Fluorescence Microscopy at the MDI Biological Laboratory. From 2015 to 2018, they were a Course Facilitator and Instructor for Optical Microscopy & Imaging in the Biomedical Sciences at the Marine Biological Laboratory. From 2009 to 2013, they were a PhD Candidate in Molecular Physiology & Biophysics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. From 2008 to 2009, they were an MS Thesis Student in Biological Sciences at The University of Alabama in Huntsville. From 2004 to 2008, they were a Technology Marketing Analyst at Purdue Research Foundation.

Amicia D. Elliott, Ph.D. has a diverse educational background. Amicia D. earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular Physiology and Biophysics from Vanderbilt University, a B.S. in Genetics from Purdue University, and an M.S. in Genetics and Molecular Biology from The University of Alabama in Huntsville.
