Rafael M. Araujo, SHRM-SCP has a diverse and extensive work experience in various companies and roles. Rafael is currently working as the Business Department Operations Director at Baker Donelson since May 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Strategic Advisor at Stanford Seed starting from June 2020.

Rafael has also worked as an Operating Partner & Board Member at Confrapar since December 2019. Rafael was a Board Member at Intcom - HR & TRAVEL INTELLIGENCE from March 2015 and served as the Chief Operating Officer at Hanna Brophy from November 2020 to April 2022.

Before joining these organizations, Rafael held multiple positions at Mayer Brown from 2010 to 2020, including Director Of Administration, Interim HR Director, Director of HR & Administration, and Senior Human Resources Manager. Rafael also worked as a Services HR Manager at GE Oil & Gas - HRBP in 2010 and served as the Country Human Resources Manager - HRBP at NewPark Drilling Fluids from 2007 to 2009.

Prior to that, Rafael worked as an HR Leader at Brasil Supply S.A from 2006 to 2007. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in areas such as HR strategy, organizational development, total rewards, employee relations, and HRIS.

Rafael M. Araujo, SHRM-SCP, holds a diverse educational background. Rafael obtained a Masters of Professional Studies (M.P.S) in Law Firm Management from The George Washington University between 2018 and 2020. In 2014, they participated in the Leading Professional Services Firms Executive Education Program at Harvard Business School. In 2011, they completed an Executive MBA at COPPEAD UFRJ. Additionally, they acquired expertise in coaching by becoming a certified Coach at the ICI - Integrated Coaching Institute in 2007. Rafael holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, obtained from UERJ in 2004. Rafael also received a Master Practitioner certification in Neurolinguistics Programming from Harishis Psychological Center in 2005. In 2006, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from Estácio. Alongside their educational achievements, Rafael holds the Yellow Belt in Legal Lean Sigma and Project Management from the Legal Lean Sigma Institute. Rafael also holds the prestigious certification of SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM, which they obtained in August 2017.
