Jatin Shah has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Jatin started their career as a Sr. Engineer at DNV Technica in 1990 and worked there until 1992. After that, they joined ERM: Environmental Resources Management as a Managing Director, specializing in Business Risk Solutions, Operational Risk Maangement, and Quantitative Risk Assessment for the Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, and Chemical industries. Jatin worked at ERM until 2000 and then moved on to KPMG, where they held the position of Director in Risk and Advisory Services from 2000 to 2002. Following their time at KPMG, Jatin became a Partner at Mudan Shah and Associates from 2002 to 2003. Currently, they are employed at BakerRisk as the Managing Director of Global Business Development, a role they started in August 2021. Prior to that, Jatin held various positions at BakerRisk, including Remote Operations Manager, Sr. Principal Consultant, and Global Business Development Manager.
Jatin Shah has a strong educational background in Chemical Engineering. Jatin obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Kansas, where they studied from 1979 to 1983. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Illinois Chicago, completing their studies from 1984 to 1987.
In addition to their academic degrees, Jatin Shah has also obtained a certification in Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR) from the GARP SCR Program. Jatin achieved this certification in November 2021.
