Najib Aheztan has extensive experience in the field of tax, with positions at Bacardi, SABIC, and EY. Najib currently serves as the Tax Director at Bacardi, a role they have held since January 2020. Prior to their time at Bacardi, they worked at SABIC from 2016 to 2019, where they held the position of Direct Tax Lead for EMEA. Before that, they worked at EY for over a decade, starting in 2004 as a Senior Manager Tax. During their time at EY, they also served as the Global Tax Desk in New York from 2009 to 2011.

Najib Aheztan studied Law and Tax Law/Taxation at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam), although the specific years of their education are unknown.
