Monique van Vliet has a comprehensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Monique started their career as a PR intern at the Whitney Museum of American Modern Art in New York in 1989, where they gained experience in organizing exhibitions and conducting PR activities. Monique then worked as a PR functionaris at Woodbrookers Bentveld, Aerdenhout in 1991 before moving on to TRAVERS training, vorming en advies as a staffunctionaris PR & Marketing from 1992 to 1995. At TRAVERS, they advised the management team on identity and image development, marketing strategies, and communication plans. From 1996 to 2001, they served as the Manager of Communication at VTL, where they were responsible for external and internal communication, marketing communication, and media relations. In 2001, they joined Bouwfonds as the Corporate Brand & Communications Manager/Director Communications a.i., where they led corporate campaigns, media strategies, and brand positioning. Following that, they worked at Rabobank as a Senior Communicatieadviseur a.i. for a brief period in 2006. Monique then returned to Babbage Company, where they held various roles, including Senior Consultant from 2007 to 2008 and currently, as the Director Business Development/Partner since January 2022. In their current role at Babbage Company, they are responsible for managing consultancy operations and partnership development. Monique is a seasoned professional with expertise in marketing, communication, and online professionals.

Monique van Vliet has a diverse education history. From 2005 to 2007, they attended EURIB/European Institute for Brand Management, where they earned a MBM degree. During their time there, they studied various subjects including Brand Management, Design Management, and Reputation Management. Prior to this, from 1983 to 1993, Monique studied at Utrecht University and obtained a Drs. degree in Algemene Literatuurwetenschap (General Literary Studies). In 1987 and 1988, they briefly studied Journalism & Communications at the University of Florida. Monique's academic journey began from 1976 to 1982 at VWO, SWS Waddinxveen, where they completed their secondary education.
