Dan Smith is currently the head of technology at Ayima. Dan has over fifteen years of experience in the field, having started their career in 2006 as the head of digital development for Factory Media. During their time at Factory Media, Dan was responsible for architecture and development for the company's network of 25+ websites, as well as all infrastructure and project management. Dan led a team of developers and also worked solo on multiple projects.
Dan's most notable achievement during their time at Factory Media was helping to develop the world's first action sports price comparison engine - Mpora Gear. Dan also built the initial versions of mpora.com and the Mpora video system, which at its peak served 2 million+ video streams per month. The Mpora network handled in excess of 4 Million unique users per month.
In their current role at Ayima, Dan is responsible for leading a team of developers in creating and implementing digital marketing solutions for Ayima's clients. Dan has extensive experience in managing large scale projects and is known for their ability to deliver high quality results on time and within budget.
