Corey leads the development of the NerveSim® platform, focusing on increasing throughput through automation of electrophysiological recording and analysis. He received his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University, characterizing electrophysiological recordings and determining the feasibility of single-site neurotransmitter-based stimulation for treating photoreceptor degenerative diseases. His postdoctoral work furthered his research through the development of a prototype multiport neurotransmitter-based retinal prosthesis using photolithography. Corey specializes in electrophysiology, photolithography, and data analysis.
