Toon van Sambeek is a mechanical engineer with a diverse background in engineering roles and educational qualifications. Currently serving as a Mechanical Engineer at Avular since January 2023, Toon is also a co-founder at UP Engineering. Prior experience includes a trainee position at Kees Van Der Westen Espressonistic Works focusing on the design of manual levers for espresso machines, and multiple positions at Prodrive Technologies, where responsibilities spanned from integrating augmented reality instructions to leading a cleanroom department and working as a cleanroom technician. Toon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Fontys University of Applied Sciences and completed a minor at Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II.
