Björn Anton Johannsson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management, engineering, and continuous improvement across various sectors. Currently serving as a Project Control Engineer at Verkís Consulting Engineers since September 2022, Björn has previously held positions such as Continuous Improvement Specialist at Rubix and Brammer Group from December 2018 to September 2022, and Technical Manager at Coca-Cola European Partners Iceland from June 2015 to November 2018. With a solid background in industrial engineering and project support, including roles at HRV Engineering and VST hf Engineering, Björn has a proven track record of managing large-scale projects, including significant contributions to the Alcoa Fjardaal smelter and Rio Tinto Alcan's Isal Production Upgrade project. Educational qualifications include an M.Sc. in Industrial Management from Aalborg University and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from VIA University College, along with early training as a carpenter and fitter.
